In August I was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes. My surgeon at Multan General Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and I have been placed on the schedule for November. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $1,000, and after what our health plan will pay, I'm still $500 short. Doctors at Multan General Hospital told me severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy.
