Natalia was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes in August. The surgeon at Novosibirsk Community Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,100, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,050 short.
my wife has been in and out of Novosibirsk Community Hospital since August. The doctors say severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,100 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Natalia struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
