Namukasa's kidney cancer treatment fund

Namukasa was diagnosed with kidney cancer in May. The oncology team at Kasarani Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Namukasa is 36, worked as a bakery worker until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kasarani Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
