Naledi needs an espresso machine and grinder to reopen a roadside café
A roadside café in Sandton needs help replacing an espresso machine and grinder after a fire in the building.

For twelve years I have run a roadside café in Sandton. In May, a fire in the building took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $620
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $165
• Shop repairs and licensing: $150
• Working capital for the first month: $115
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Naledi?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about replacing an espresso machine and grinder, advice is welcome too. Thanks for asking.
Praying for you. I hope things turn around soon. After 7 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Good luck. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
Sending love, Naledi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Cairns so I could bring a meal. All the best.
