Nala's pyometra: help with the vet bill
A rescue greyhound named Nala needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $2,300 bill the family can't cover.
🇺🇸 United States995 views
Nala is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 10 February we rushed to the Flint Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,300.
They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond April.
Nala is more than a pet - Nala is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $300 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Flint Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,100
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $620
• Medication and follow-up visits: $310
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $270
Every share and every dollar helps.
