My tuk-tuk: Wagner's only way to earn a living

Without my tuk-tuk Wagner can't work; a $250 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 10 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $250 goes: • Labor charges: $115 • Towing and inspection: $45 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $90 If you're reading this, thank you. - Wagner

Updates from Wagner

  1. We're at 37% thanks to 5 of you. the plan for road tax and insurance renewal is now scheduled. More news soon.

  2. 20% there. the plan for road tax and insurance renewal is now scheduled. Thank you.

  3. Good news. Because of your gifts ($45 in total) I made the first payment toward labor charges. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
