My tuk-tuk: Rafael's only way to earn a living
Rafael's my tuk-tuk is Rafael's only source of income and needs a fuel pump replacement costing $250.
🇧🇷 Minas Gerais, Brazil171 views
I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 12 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $250 goes:
• Labor charges: $100
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $110
• Towing and inspection: $40
Every share and every dollar helps.

sending love. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Reading
So sorry you're going through this, Rafael. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Dehiwala.
Thinking of you and your family. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
Wishing you peace, Rafael. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. God bless.
keep going, Rafael. Your post was clear and honest. Thinking of Uberlândia.
