My tuk-tuk: John's only way to earn a living

Without my tuk-tuk John can't work; a $350 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 6 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $350 goes: • suspension replacement (parts): $240 • Labor charges: $55 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $50 • Towing and inspection: $5 Glad we found this place. - John

  • Hope things get better soon. Looking forward to the next update. After 13 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care
