Francisco needs a freezer and scales to reopen a fish stall
A fish stall in Córdoba needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a storm that collapsed the roof.
🇪🇸 Córdoba, Andalusia, Spain1,541 views
For twelve years I have run a fish stall in Córdoba. In April, a storm that collapsed the roof took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $1,200
• Initial stock: the first catch: $230
• Shop repairs and licensing: $320
• Working capital for the first month: $150
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thanks for sharing this, Francisco. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 6 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
any update on how things are going in Córdoba?
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Latina.
Thanks for sharing this, Francisco. Hope the shop reopens soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
sending good thoughts, Francisco. Hope the shop reopens soon.
