I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 6 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $150 goes: • clutch assembly replacement (parts): $60 • Labor charges: $45 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $30 • Towing and inspection: $15 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Jannat

  • good luck, Jannat. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best
