Gustavo's Hodgkin lymphoma treatment fund
Gustavo is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Gustavo was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in April. The oncology team at A Coruña Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Gustavo is 57, worked as a nurse until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to A Coruña Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $7,200 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,100
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,250
• Scans and lab work: $410
• Transport to A Coruña Cancer Centre: $440
