My taxi: Rohan's only way to earn a living
Rohan's my taxi is Rohan's only source of income and needs a clutch assembly replacement costing $250.
🇮🇳 India540 views
I make my living with my taxi. 10 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $250 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $135
• Labor charges: $40
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $50
• Towing and inspection: $25
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Kanpur.

Stay strong, Rohan. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Praying for you. This could happen to any of us. Greetings from Gaya.
