I make my living with my school-run minibus. 6 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $250 goes: • clutch assembly replacement (parts): $150 • Labor charges: $35 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $25 • Towing and inspection: $40 Thanks for reading all this. - Yasir

Updates from Yasir

  1. 53% there. the plan for labor charges is now scheduled. Thank you.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($108 in total) I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. Small update. $100 so far, I made the first payment toward labor charges. - Yasir
