I make my living with my ride-share car. 10 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $250 goes: • radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $150 • Labor charges: $35 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $35 • Towing and inspection: $30 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

  • Best of luck, Julián. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from London.

    • Thinking of you, Julián. Hope you make a strong comeback. After 12 years in accounting I know how hard it is to ask for anything. God bless.

      • Hope it all works out. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 10 years in hospitality I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Take care.

        • keep going. Hope you make a strong comeback. My husband and I read this together. God bless

          • Sending strength. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best.
