My ride-share car: Aster's only way to earn a living
Without my ride-share car Aster can't work; a $200 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 3 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $200 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $140
• Towing and inspection: $30
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
Updates from Aster
Good news. Because of your gifts ($30 in total) the plan for road tax and insurance renewal is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Thank you all. We're at 51% now ($102). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 103% funded and we've started the first stage.
