My pickup: Mason's only way to earn a living
Mason's my pickup is Mason's only source of income and needs an engine head gasket replacement costing $1,100.

I make my living with my pickup. 7 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $840
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $165
• Towing and inspection: $95
Thanks for being kind about this.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Mason?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about engine head gasket replacement (parts), advice is welcome too. Thanks, that means a lot.
Hope you make a strong comeback. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best
Wishing you peace. Hope this works out for you. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
Rooting for you, Mason. Hope the shop reopens soon. I'll check back for the next update. God bless
Good luck, Mason. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up.
Keep going, Mason. Hope you get there. Thinking of Riverside.
Sending love, Mason. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 23 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
