My pickup: Ethan's only way to earn a living
Ethan drives for a living in Montréal, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 12 weeks.

I make my living with my pickup. 12 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $530
• Labor charges: $250
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $220
