My food truck: Sunil's only way to earn a living
Sunil's my food truck is Sunil's only source of income and needs a rear axle replacement costing $350.

I make my living with my food truck. 5 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $350 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $185
• Labor charges: $70
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $50
• Towing and inspection: $45
Thanks for being kind about this.

Good news. Because of your gifts ($35 in total) I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely. - Sunil
