My food truck: Brooks's only way to earn a living
Brooks's my food truck is Brooks's only source of income and needs a rear axle replacement costing $750.

I make my living with my food truck. 5 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $750. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $750 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $440
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $250
• Towing and inspection: $60
Thank you for reading my story.

small businesses are the heart of Dundee. Hope you're open again soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Dhaka.
Stay strong, Brooks. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Dundee.
