My delivery van: Ghada's only way to earn a living
Ghada drives for a living in Riyadh, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 3 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 3 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $550 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $45
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $450
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $55
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thank you all. We're at 17% now ($93). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for road tax and insurance renewal is now scheduled.
We're at 7% thanks to 2 of you. I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal. More news soon.

Sending good thoughts, Ghada. I hope things turn around soon. Put this on a community board in Thủ Đức this morning. Take care.
