Mutua needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Kasarani
Without my tuk-tuk Mutua can't work; a $300 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 10 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $300 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $250
• Labor charges: $35
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $15
I hope life is good to you.

How is Mutua doing now?
Sending strength, Mutua. This could happen to any of us. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.
