Musyoka's septoplasty can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a large ovarian cyst, Musyoka was cleared for septoplasty, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Musyoka was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in August. The surgeon at Thika Community Hospital recommended septoplasty, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $560, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $450 short.
my brother has been in and out of Thika Community Hospital since August. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $560 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Musyoka struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Musyoka won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. post-operative medication comes first ($70) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. It helps to be asked.
