For nine years I have run a street-food cart in Campinas. In January, a fire in the building took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $550 goes: • Shop repairs and licensing: $170 • Initial stock: ingredients: $220 • Working capital for the first month: $160 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Murilo

Keep going, Murilo. Small businesses are the heart of Campinas. Hope you're open again soon. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.

              • Best of luck, Murilo. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in customer support myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.

                • Good luck, Murilo. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Istanbul
