Murat wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Help Murat stay in his own home with four months of part-time care.
🇩🇪 Germany3,951 views
I'm caring for my father, who's 84. After the death of his spouse Murat can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Murat desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Murat worked all of his life as a carpenter, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $4,950 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $4,050
• Medication and prescriptions: $510
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $390
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

You're not alone, Emre. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
thanks for sharing this, Emre. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
