Murat's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Help Murat begin Grade 9 with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇹🇷 Türkiye625 views
Murat earned a place in Grade 9 at Kadıköy International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $150, which is more than they have.
Murat loves design and technology and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $35
• Laptop: $100
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
Hang in there. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Kadıköy.
Looking forward to the next update. Love from Amritsar
So sorry you're going through this, Seda. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn.
