Munich flood relief - the Riverside settlement
Neighbors in the Riverside settlement are rebuilding after the flood; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The flood hit the Riverside settlement on 27 January. My home was one of 39 damaged, and 4 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $5,500 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $2,200
• Clean water and purification supplies: $710
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $880
• Food parcels for displaced families: $900
• Tools and labor for repairs: $810
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Hope it all works out. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Riverside
Take care. Hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
Hang in there, Leyla. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care
