Mulu's multiple myeloma treatment fund

Mulu was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in January. The oncology team at the Mekelle Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in April. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Mulu is 50, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Mekelle Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
