Mugisha's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Help Mugisha begin Grade 9 with a laptop, uniform and books.
Anywhere in the world425 views
I earned a place in Grade 9 at Nairobi International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $160, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $160 goes:
• Laptop: $90
• School uniform and shoes: $25
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
Thank you for reading my story.
