Moving day volunteers: Macharia's family relocating in Gulu
Moving day on Sunday: we need 3-4 helpers and ideally a van.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Gulu, and the lease starts on Sunday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.

Hope it all works out. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Regensburg!
