Moving day volunteers: Jerzy's family relocating in Gdańsk
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Gdańsk.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Gdańsk, and the lease starts on Sunday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Gdańsk.
So sorry you're going through this, Jerzy. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out
Wishing you peace, Jerzy. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Gdańsk.
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings
Rooting for you, Jerzy. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. After 12 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
