Moving day volunteers: Festus's family relocating in Kaduna
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Kaduna.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Kaduna, and the lease starts on Tuesday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you for reading my story.

sending good thoughts. Shared this with my family. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings
