Moving day volunteers: Christopher's family relocating in Mississauga
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Mississauga.

After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Mississauga, and the lease starts on Tuesday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you for reading my story.

Keep going, Christopher. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this. Looking forward to the next update. I have a 14 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Stay strong, Christopher. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Zanzibar City this morning. Thinking of Mississauga
