Moving day volunteers: Beatrice's family relocating in Nairobi
Beatrice has found a safe new apartment in Nairobi and needs help moving heavy furniture on Wednesday.

After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Nairobi, and the lease starts on Wednesday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.

So sorry you're going through this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Nairobi.
