Mohit served four years; now needs help to get home
A navy veteran in Nashik needs help with a trained service dog and handler course after leaving service with chronic tinnitus.

I served four years in the navy and was discharged in 2024 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote I have comes to $450.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $450 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $60
• Essential household items: $100
• Housing deposit and first month: $290
Thanks for reading all this.

Thinking of you, Mohit. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in San Jose donated after I showed her your page. Blessings
