Mobility fund: stair-climbing aid for Tashana in Half-Way Tree

Tashana lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Half-Way Tree Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,050.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Tashana could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $2,050 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $1,900
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• Delivery and set-up: $35
• First-year servicing plan: $75
