Mobility fund: stair-climbing aid for Nur in Malang
A stair-climbing aid would give Nur independence - we're $950 away.

I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the Malang Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $950.
My current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $950 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $870
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $40
With deep gratitude,
Nur

Hope it all works out, Nur. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. All the best
Stay strong. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
