Mobility fund: stair-climbing aid for Kshitija in Mysuru
Help Kshitija get a stair-climbing aid so She can go outside without waiting for someone to push.

I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the Mysuru Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,300.
My current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $1,200
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $30
I hope life is good to you.

Praying for you, Kshitija. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Lviv.
