Mobility fund: stair-climbing aid for Benjamin in Corpus Christi
A stair-climbing aid would give Benjamin independence - we're $2,450 away.

I live with an amputation below the knee. My occupational therapist at Corpus Christi General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,450.
My current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could attend work interviews. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $320
• stair-climbing aid: $2,000
• Fitting and training sessions: $130
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hope it all works out. Hope the doctors have good news. Sent it to 23 people at work. Thinking of Corpus Christi.
look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Riyadh.
