Mobility fund: specialist standing frame for Stefania in Rome

I live with muscular dystrophy. My occupational therapist at the Rome Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $4,200. My current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 5 weeks. With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
