Mobility fund: specialist standing frame for Shazia in Karachi
A specialist standing frame would give Shazia independence - we're $100 away.

Shazia lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at Karachi General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Shazia could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $40
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $15
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
