Mobility fund: specialist standing frame for Noah in Cleveland
A specialist standing frame would give Noah independence - we're $10,100 away.
🇺🇸 Cleveland, Ohio, United States1,582 views
Noah lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at Cleveland General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $10,100.
His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Noah could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $10,100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $220
• Delivery and set-up: $135
• specialist standing frame: $9,745

Wishing you the best, Teresa. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My husband and I read this together. All the best.
hope it all works out. Hope this works out for you. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless!
