Mobility fund: specialist standing frame for Narayan in Lalitpur
A specialist standing frame would give Narayan independence - we're $100 away.
🇳🇵 Lalitpur, Bagmati, Nepal1,648 views
Narayan lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at Lalitpur General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Narayan could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $30
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• Delivery and set-up: $45
Every share and every dollar helps.
