Mobility fund: specialist standing frame for Hüseyin in Bornova

Hüseyin lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Bornova Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $150. His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks. With the right equipment Hüseyin could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
