Mobility fund: specialist standing frame for Ashok in Rohini
A specialist standing frame would give Ashok independence - we're $1,550 away.

Ashok lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Rohini Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,550.
His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Ashok could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• specialist standing frame: $1,450
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $60
Thanks for reading all this.
