Sapna lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Jodhpur Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $150.
Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Sapna could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $150 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $60
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $65
