Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Nova in Burnaby

Nova lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at Burnaby General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,550.
Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Nova could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $6,550 goes:
• prosthetic leg: $6,250
• Delivery and set-up: $180
• Fitting and training sessions: $120
