Hubballi
Noman lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Hubballi Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,350. His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks. With the right equipment Noman could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $1,350 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $50 • prosthetic leg: $1,250 • Fitting and training sessions: $50 Thank you so much. - Sathi
