Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Nevaeh in Anaheim
Help Nevaeh get a prosthetic leg so She can go to school independently.
🇺🇸 Anaheim, California, United States831 views
Nevaeh lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Anaheim Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $800.
Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Nevaeh could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $800 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $380
• Delivery and set-up: $80
• First-year servicing plan: $340
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
