Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Lộc in Hồ Chí Minh City

Lộc lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Hồ Chí Minh City Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $600. His current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 5 weeks. With the right equipment Lộc could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
