Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Joshua in Mandaue
Joshua needs a prosthetic leg that the health system won't fund; the cost is $100.

I live with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. My occupational therapist at the Mandaue Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $35
• Fitting and training sessions: $30
• First-year servicing plan: $35
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hope it all works out, Joshua. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
